Find a Doctor
How do you find a good doctor? Lots of people ask their family members, friends or colleagues. If you ask for a referral from someone at work or school, you’re more likely to find a doctor who is “in-network” or accepted by your insurance. (To learn more about insurance terms, click here. Doctors are usually “in-network” for multiple insurances – you may be able to use the same doc as a friend or family member, even if you use different insurance. If you’re still struggling to find a doctor, you can even search online for doctor recommendations. Websites such as Revolution Health and Dr. Score offer ratings and reviews.
There is also a database where you can search specifically for epilepsy specialists. For that information, click here.
